We recently traveled to San Diego to visit our precious new granddaughter, Evelyn Joy, and her parents. While we were there, we had the privilege of re-visiting the Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park. We were impressed with the garden’s growth since our first visit in 2018. This time, too, we were able to enter one of the buildings we had bypassed during our first visit. In so doing, we experienced the “inside-out” garden perspective we borrow from Japanese garden traditions and seek to incorporate into every garden we craft: the seamless integration between home and garden, with beauty and serenity visible from inside and outside the home. Can you see it? Does this appeal to you? If so, please talk to us. We specialize in bringing inspiring views to those in the home while creating gardens worth inhabiting.
